Fun in the Sun at Troon

Four club members by the Troon beach

Seventy people enjoyed Jewish Care Scotland’s annual summer visit to Troon on Thursday 26th June. Thistle club and Aviv club members, along with our dedicated volunteers and staff travelled by coach and minibus to spend an afternoon at the Troon Walker Hall.

The hall was decorated with fresh flowers by volunteers and The Kosher Chef catered the event. Club members were treated to a lunch of salmon, fish balls and a variety of salads. This was followed by delicious apple pie and cream.

The weather was glorious, so everyone got outside to enjoy the sunshine. It was a great opportunity for people to get an ice cream by the sea front. After time in the sun club members enjoyed musical entertainment and some even had a dance! The outing was finished off with tea, coffee and home baking.

Thank you to the Netherlee and Clarkston Charitable Trust for contributing towards this event.
